Annual Wellness Exams and Vaccinations:  Keeping your pet current on their vaccines will help prevent common though serious and sometimes life-threating illnesses. However there have been many changes in the recommendations for routine vaccinations that our pets receive. We here at TDAC strongly feel that animals should get an individualized vaccine protocol tailored to their specific need. Every year the doctors here will evaluate each patient's needs and discuss them with their owners. No more "One shot fits all."

Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures. All animals undergoing a procedure requiring general anesthesia such as dog and cat spays, dog neuters and dental procedures will have their blood tested prior to anesthesia. This is done to screen for hidden organ problems and to help us decide the safest anesthetic agents to use. Your pet may also receive IV fluids to help maintain adequate blood pressure during the procedure and aid in a speedy and safe recovery.

Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling, and aggression.

Chemotherapy:  Specific cancer treatment options, including chemotherapy, are available and can be discussed as part of your pets individual cancer treatment plan.
